TEQUILAS & MEZCALS
"TEQUILA" comes from the name of the Tequili Indians, who inhabited the region that today is called the state of Jalisco in Mexico. The word literally means "Place of hard labour". Today Tequila is defined as a distilled spirit, controlled and produced in a denomination of region of origin.
