Livamady is Ireland's first Single Barrel Single Malt, finished and blended by Darryl McNally, Ireland's greatest master distiller. A descendant of the original 18th-century Limavady distillers, Darryl has created more than a dozen of the world's finest whiskies, winning numerous gold medals over the last decade. Now he's going independent to create his life's work, to the glory of his hometown. Distilled 3 times in a copper pot still from 100% Irish barley, Limavada Single Barrel Single Malt is aged in bourbon casks before being finished in PX sherry casks, developing notes of dried fruit and dark chocolate with a hint of spice on the finish. Each cask is selected one by one by Darryl himself. The PX sherry casks are then bottled separately, with the cask & bottle number written on each bottle. Limited quantities: 846 bottles per barrel.
