DEAD MAN'S FINGERS PINEAPPLE

Well balanced with notes of sweet brown sugar and nutmeg that clash with a whiff of anise and lime zest. Very refreshing, especially with lemonade, lots of ice, a lime wedge and a bouquet of fresh mint.

Tasting notes

Appearance

Amber.

Nose

Sweet notes of roasted and candied pineapple.

Palate

Well-balanced, with notes of sweet brown sugar and nutmeg mingling with a hint of aniseed and lime zest.

Finish

Long, expressive & fresh.

Unusual tastes delicious. Inspired by our original spiced rum from the Rum & Crab Shack in St. Ives, Cornwall, this is a rum crafted from the sweet notes of roasted and candied pineapple. It's well balanced with notes of sweet brown sugar and nutmeg that clash with a whiff of anise and lime zest. Very refreshing, especially with lemonade, lots of ice, a lime wedge and a bouquet of fresh mint.

Dead Man's Fingers

It all began in Cornwall, where food enthusiasts founded a restaurant full of life, laughter and music, where locals can enjoy the region's finest seafood. And so the Rum & Crab Shack was born. The name “Dead Man's Fingers” is directly inspired by the local crab cuisine. The long, finger-like filaments are called “dead man's fingers” because, according to legend, if you eat them, you'll die (which isn't true, they just taste nasty, which is why they're removed and discarded). So there you have it. A strange name, a skull on the bottle (supposedly the last person to eat the dead man's fingers), a delicious range of spirits inspired by flavors that make us happy!
