Neat or on the rocks.
Tasting notes
Apprearance
Golden with amber highlights.
Nose
A rich malty aroma with notes of breakfast cereal and cooked fruit. Some leafy character and a touch of freshly cut grass.
Palate
UFresh and crisp with a malty sweetness and delicate oak notes. Subtle spices and hints of toasted almonds.
Finish
Clean on the palate with a lingering sweetness.

Grangestone River Bourbon Cask Finish has been aged in traditional American oak casks until it reaches the perfect balance of flavours. Only then is the whisky transferred to first-use American casks to allow a secondary maturation that contributes to its complex character and refined depth of flavour.
Grangestone distillery
Search through the bracken and woodland of rural Scotland and you'll soon discover a forgotten railway network. A legacy of the fleet of whisky trains that once roamed the country, servicing local distilleries. Carrying barley, yeast and fuel, their wagons were loaded with the finest Scotch whisky, bound for the country's towns and ports. As well as transporting goods, these rivers of steel also brought a steady stream of people, establishing communities - and with them livelihoods, friendships and joy - along Scotland's whisky routes. Inspired by one of these lost halts, Grangestone Halt, Grangestone Single Malt Whisky celebrates the history of Scotland's enterprising whisky trains; a history that, like their once gleaming tracks, might otherwise have faded into the mists of time./p>
