Tasting notes
Appearance
Deep amber.
Nose
Coconut and vanilla accompany stone fruit and dried fruit. The nose then evolves into a rich grain with hints of chocolate.
Palate
The sweet oak evolves into spicy grains, with a touch of dried fruit. Mocha and oak follow, with vanilla and dried coconut.
Finish
The finish is spicy and warm, clean but powerful. A long, lingering flavour of sweet oak and dark chocolate.

Taking the best of American bourbon and Scottish single malt production, NED is a quintessentially Australian whisky made for everyone. Smooth, bold and rich in flavour, full of strength and character, NED forges its own story on Australian soil. Designed to be shared, celebrated and enjoyed, NED is distilled from Australia's finest grains using an exclusive process that combines the best of single malt production and sour mash techniques. It is then aged in American oak casks that thrive in Melbourne's highly variable climate, until it has a boldness and character worthy of its legendary name.
