Discover the Powerscourt distillery's oldest and most exclusive creation to date. This whiskey is the result of marrying 21-year-old bourbon barrel-aged whiskeys with a selection of Spanish Oloroso sherry and Pedro Ximénez whiskey. Inspired by the bodegas of Spain's Andalusia region, the members of the distillery have fused the vibrant flavors of sherry with the rich dark fruit aromas emblematic of this region, all sublimated by the finesse of a malt whiskey aged for 21 years in bourbon casks. A masterpiece of delicacy and intensity for discerning connoisseurs.
Powerscourt
The Powerscourt Distillery and Visitor Centre combines grain-to-cask spirits production with fully immersive experiences for visitors and Irish whiskey lovers. On-site storage provides ideal conditions for maturation, where the elements of wood and time play their essential role. The distillery was designed by master distiller Noel Sweeney and equipment experts Forsyths, who worked closely together throughout the pre-production design period. Often described as the jewel in the crown of Wicklow's 'garden county', the Powerscourt Estate is a timeless place of history and exploration. With 19 hectares of landscaped gardens set in the beautiful surroundings of Sugarloaf Mountain, it has been named one of the three most beautiful gardens in the world (National Geographic).
