Learn more

Nixta is a Mexican corn liquor grown below the Nevado de Toluca volcano in the state of Mexico at Destileria y Bodega Abasolo using an ancestral method. Mexico is the cradle of corn. More than just a crop, corn is the main food base of the entire Mexican indigenous culture, a precious heritage in the identity of the country. Made with the best ancestral corn, non-GMO, grown and passed down for over 200 generations by local farms for its distinct and extraordinary flavor. Nixta is produced with the best harvested corn, then macerated in a sweet corn distillate with clarified mash. The corn that makes up this liquor is Cacahuazinthle corn. Infused with tender corn cobs, the sweet notes are reminiscent of dried stone fruits, fragrant herbs and rhubarb compote.
