A passion for discovery runs through all eight generations of the Whitley Neill family tree. So it’s perhaps fitting that while honeymooning in the beautiful Sicilian countryside, Frederick Neill and his new wife fell in love all over again, this time with the vibrant, zesty flavour of Sicilian blood oranges. Using his finely-honed distilling techniques, Freddy strove to create a gin recipe that would evoke the memories of his Sicilian honeymoon. And it’s this recipe that led to the creation of Whitley Neill Blood Orange Gin.

City of London Distillery

Whitley Neill gins are distilled at the multi-award-winning City of London Distillery, the first and still only gin distillery in the City of London for 200 years. It's also the epicenter of the original gin craze that swept London in the 1700s. They were created by Johnny Neill, a direct descendant of 8 generations of distillers who can trace their family's distilling history back to 1762. Johnny was one of the first gin distillers to use non-traditional botanicals in his gin. Since then, Whitley Neill has remained at the forefront of flavor trends.
