TOMINTOUL SEIRIDH
Le Tomintoul Seiridh, prononcé « sheh-ree », tire son nom du mot gaélique pour « sherry ». Ce single malt parfaitement équilibré a été vieilli dans des fûts de chêne américain ayant contenu du bourbon, avant d’être affiné dans des fûts d’Oloroso Sherry soigneusement sélectionnés, provenant de Jerez, en Andalousie, en Espagne.

Tasting notes
Nose
Rich and inviting, with aromas of Smyrna raisins, butterscotch and candied pecans.
Palate
Sweet and indulgent, with layers of dried figs and Christmas cake, enhanced by hints of cedar spice.
FInish
Warm, nutty and long, with notes of chocolate-covered sultanas, dried fruit and hints of liquorice that fade into a woody aftertaste.

The Tomintoul distillery
The Tomintoul distillery was built in 1965 and acquired by Angus Dundee in 2000. Located in the Speyside region, Tomintoul is the fruit of the pure water of the Ballantruan spring and the fresh air of the Cairngorms National Park, an area of outstanding natural beauty. The distillery is named after the village of Tomintoul, the highest village in the Scottish Highlands.
