ETSU Gin is one of the first Japanese gins on the market. Etsu means 'pleasure' in Japanese. This gin was crafted by the Asahikawa distillery in Hokkaidō, following an ancestral Asian recipe requiring various herbs, spices and citrus fruits, some of which can only be found in Asia (berries, peppers, citrus...). ETSU Gin's distinctive feature lies in the lingering orange peel and yuzu, this yellow citrus fruit very popular in Asia.
Crafted at Asahikawa Distillery, ETSU Gin is part of the Japanese portfolio selected by BBC Spirits.

Asahikawa Distillery
Asahikawa is the second largest city on Hokkaidō, the northernmost of Japan's four main islands, yet one of its least densely populated. This is where ETSU Gin's original recipe is crafted, from a base spirit distilled from sugarcane molasses, enriched with exceptionally pure mountain spring water.
